Jackson Hole WY

Tori and I recently took a trip to Jackson Hole. We drove up through Bear lake and all the gorgeous mountain passes and canyons between there and Jackson. On the last pass we drove through we got caught in a blizzard we could see nothing but the faint tail lights of the semi truck 50ft in front of us not even the lines on the road where visible just the fresh white blanket getting deeper by the second and the tire tracks from the truck. When we arrived in Jackson we stayed the night in a very comfortable mountain resort themed hotel the Wyoming Inn. The next day Tori and I drove past the majestic Tetons that rose from the snow like enormous statues beautiful posed in the cold winter air with clouds grasping to their flanks. We continued our drive up through Yellowstone park stopping to see hot pots and taking the time to watch Old Faithful erupt and feel its warm water scurry past us in the temporary streams on its way to the river. We saw several buffalo and snapped a few pics. It was a very enjoyable weekend getaway, and we even got some potatoes from Drew on our way back that made the drive justifiable.
